Welcome to Demattrie Hotel. By making a reservation or staying at our hotel, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please take a moment to review them carefully.
1. Reservations:
- Guarantee Policy:
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your card prior to arrival.
- Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made by 6:00 PM local hotel time at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid a one-night charge. Group bookings or special offers may have different cancellation policies, as stated in the reservation confirmation.
- No-Show Policy:
In the event of a no-show, the hotel will charge the first night's rate to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
2. Check-In & Check-Out:
- Check-In Time: 1:00 PM
- Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact the front desk to arrange these services.
3. Payment:
- Accepted Forms of Payment:
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cash payments are also accepted.
- Billing:
All charges must be settled upon check-out. Guests may choose to settle their bill with a credit card, debit card, or cash. Any outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card on file.
4. Room Occupancy:
- Maximum Occupancy:
The maximum occupancy for each room type is specified at the time of booking. Additional guests may incur extra charges.
- Children:
Children under 12 years of age stay free when sharing a room with their parents, using existing bedding. Extra beds or cribs are available upon request and may incur additional charges.
5. Guest Responsibilities:
- Damage to Property:
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the hotel property during their stay. The hotel reserves the right to charge for the repair or replacement of damaged items.
- Smoking Policy:
Demattrie Hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking in designated non-smoking areas will result in a cleaning fee being charged to the guest's account.
- Noise Policy:
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, noise levels should be kept to a minimum. The hotel reserves the right to evict guests who create excessive noise or disturbance.
6. Pet Policy:
- Pets:
Pets are not allowed on the premises, with the exception of service animals. Guests with service animals are required to inform the hotel at the time of booking.
7. Personal Belongings:
- Valuables:
The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use the in-room safe or safety deposit boxes provided at the front desk.
- Left Items:
Items left behind by guests will be held for 30 days. If unclaimed, the hotel reserves the right to dispose of them.
8. Privacy Policy:

Demattrie Hotel is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during your stay will be used in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available upon request.
9. Liability:
- Hotel Liability:
Demattrie Hotel is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their property. Guests are advised to take appropriate precautions and to ensure they have adequate travel insurance.
10. Governing Law:
- Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the hotel is located. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the local courts.
11. Amendments:
- Changes to Terms:
Demattrie Hotel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on our website and at the front desk.
